Life is really interesting...ain't it?

When you look at something random, what do you see? Is it just an object or is it something that is a part of your life? For instance, a flower. Do you just see something pretty and pink (or whatever color it is) or do you see a beautiful representation of life? When you look at your loads of homework, what do you see? Do you see a pile of busy, good-for-nothing work or do you see something that could potentially benefit your life in the future?
Seeing things in a different perspective can help to make your life more interesting. If you think that you have a dull life, just start looking at things in a different perspective. That is what I am starting to do. It definitely makes my life more interesting and more worthwhile that's for sure.
There is a phrase that I particularly like and I am going to say it in Spanish because it sounds cooler.

La vida es lo que se hace. Life is what you make of it. 

In my opinion this is not true. I believe that while you may be able to control certain aspects of your life, you cannot control the things that other people do that can change your life. For example, if life was what I made of it, why couldn't I stop my mother and father from getting a divorce? That was something that I, myself, could not control yet it still changed my life (for the worst if I may add). I guess, the point that I am trying to make is just look at life in a different perspective than you have been.
Look at life as one hell of a roller coaster (one that you never get off of). Just take a ride. Make the best decisions you can and hope that it turns out for the best. And if it doesn't then you can learn from your mistakes.
I have spent way too many hours, days, months of my teenage life worrying about whether or not I was going to make the right decision in various events. What I realize now is that if you try to always make the right decisions you will never actually be able to say that you have learned something in life. You cannot just sit back and try to learn from other people's mistakes because you won't learn all you can learn. Sometimes you have to completely screw up your life to be able to see that life isn't always about looking towards the future. If you life your life in the now and try to make the best of the present, then life should go easier.
